This page explains how MechToolbox handles local app data, third-party services, exports, and user privacy.
MechToolbox does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or location.
All job data, fault entries, notes, manuals, saved references, and related workshop records are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
MechToolbox may allow you to add or store job photos, fault photos, PDF manuals, backup files, and exported reports. These files are used only for app functionality on your device.
When you choose to share or export a report, PDF, image, manual, or backup file, that action is controlled by you through your device sharing options.
The app may use third-party services such as Google Play Billing, Google Play services, and Google AdMob. These services may process limited technical, purchase, advertising, diagnostics, or usage data according to their own privacy policies.
MechToolbox may show ads in free or limited access areas of the app. Advertising services may use device or advertising identifiers to provide, measure, and improve ads.
MechToolbox may offer paid subscription options or unlock options through Google Play. Purchase and subscription handling is managed by Google Play. MechToolbox does not store your payment card details.
Your app data remains on your device unless you choose to share it, export it, back it up, or restore it. You are responsible for keeping exported files and backup files secure after leaving the app.
MechToolbox is designed as a workshop support tool. It does not replace professional judgement, manufacturer service information, legal compliance, or safety procedures.
This policy may be updated in future versions. Updated versions will be posted on this website.
